Hello friends and family,
Has a year really gone by? Here is our Savoca family 2012 review!
Carlos – Carlos is in middle school, currently in 8th grade. He enjoyed getting involved in wrestling this summer and plans to get more involved in sports when he enters high school. He gets up at 5:30 am and returns from school at 4:30pm. He enjoys being physically fit and is health conscious. He loves sweets, but wants to make sure his physique looks good. He’s very intelligent and still has a great sense of humor. (Although he has some tough humor competition with Dad around!)
Coco and Coty – Our German Shepherd puppy and affectionate cat are fun to watch! They usually enjoy each others’ companionship. Actually, Coty prefers eating Coco’s food and Coco prefers to chase Coty, but they are always looking out for each other.
Melodie – Melodie has cut back on work due to her health. She continues to maintain great diabetic control but has had problems with infections and skin. Melodie takes care of the home, acts as the finance manager for the business and home and takes care of social media marketing for clients. On the side, Melodie writes articles for our websites including Lifestyle of Diabetes and Royalty-Free Pictures for Websites.
Tom – Tom is focused on his business, SEO Does Matter, Inc. and continues to do search engine optimization (SEO) primarily for small businesses in the security realm. His desire is to help small businesses with internet marketing. When he isn’t working, Tom adores our 1 1/2 year old dog, Coco. He enjoys taking her to the dog park twice a week and teaching her commands. In July, Tom and Carlos took a trip (with Coco) to Albany to see Tom’s sister and celebrate her 50th b-day. Tom enjoyed the “boyz trip” and sleeping in the car. Carlos loved the go-kart experience!
Tom and Melodie are in a season needing to focus on parenting. In 2012, we took a step back from volunteering at church. This year we were blessed to go to Disney! We thank our friend for his kindness and hospitality that allowed us to enjoy a mini vacation in September. This December, we look forward to our first family cruise where we will be visiting Mexico with Melodie’s parents and sister. Carlos has been anxiously awaiting this trip, the past two years!
As we approach 2013, we pray for guidance and direction for our family and our country! We appreciate your prayers and want family and friends to know we pray for you also! If you would enjoy a mini vacation in Florida, contact us! We’d love to see you and welcome you to our home.
