"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." Luke 2:14

Greetings from the Savoca Family

Dear Family and Friends,

This year has been interesting with many new things happening to us! Here are some of the highlights:

In January, Melodie changed positions at her job and it was actually the direction she was hoping for; into the web department! Her focus on search engine marketing has been challenging yet fun all-in-one.

In February, we cruised to Mexico and got to experience riding on ATV's. Tom was anxious to ride while Melodie had to take the ATV 101 class before she was ready to ride full-speed ahead of Tom. In the end, Tom couldn't keep up with her!

In April, (after two years of unsuccessfully trying to adopt a child), we decided to get another cat. So, we added a new member to the family! Coty is full of affection and energy. Casper has lost weight and "puts up" with Coty's playfulness. Melodie enjoys mothering the boys.

Realizing it was a good time to buy a home and have a spare room for family and friends to visit (hint-hint!) we closed on a home in May and moved in on July 1. What a transition that was! Tom loves the pool and garage and Melodie enjoys the added space.

In July, Tom realized the great potential to work for himself and God opened the doors. He is now self-employed working in his spacious office and gets the freedom to wear shorts to the "office" and takes "breaks" to water the lawn or stop the boys from tearing up the house. Tom enjoys these new freedoms but has been disappointed that his police work opportunities were closed.

For our three year (can you believe it's been that long!?!) wedding anniversary, (that's in September) we went to the Holy Land, in Orlando! (We still have the condo for sale) It was a beautiful weekend which we enjoyed. We visited Disney at the same time and went to see the Hollywood studios.

In October, we stayed at two bed & breakfasts for Melodie's birthday! Both were in Florida, but the one was in the middle of the state. There sure is a difference between South Florida and Central Florida! We relaxed from all the changes that had taken place this year and enjoyed doing "nothing."

Near the end of October, Tom's Mom, Betsy, came down for a visit to see our new home. We had the opportunity to go on a cruise with her to the Bahamas! It was loads of fun and inexpensive. (You know, we still have a 2/2 condo for sale!)

In November, Tom's birthday gift was to see his brother Mark. Tom worked with his brother to learn some new web techniques to help with his job. We enjoyed the family time and dealt with the cold weather as well as possible.

We thank God for His financial provisions (did we mention we still have our 2/2 condo for sale that is on waterfront property?) and ask for your prayers as we take in the new adventures we are going through!

With Christ's love,
Tom and Melodie Savoca

Merry Christmas!!
