We finally got the name search completed from the FBI. Our updated home study is completed. But now for the hard part. LOL Now it has to be approved and sit in another pile of papers. 🙂
Update: Finally! Our home study has been approved! Tom and I have decided to look only in Florida for adopting a child because of the fantastic benefits. In addition, the case workers prefer the children have a slow transition and the process can go slowly. Hence we have decided to only look here.
Tom and I are praying for the right child. We have been looking from age 6 to age 12 with no medical issues. I have submitted interest in about a dozen children throughout the state.
Next is the wait to see if any of the case workers feel we are the right match for the children. We are praying God will not allow us to get something we can not handle but someone we can help and love in addition to being a blessing to our family.
